A short shifter is an easy install and is a great mod. It makes changing gears so sweet 8)
No REDZ, I'm not trying to sell him 1 tongue.gif

now to find canadian suppliers so i can avoid paying duty and hopefully get a better price =p

Nav, just buy from Kspec.com , they will help you out with values for the reasons you mentioned.

ok. AEM CAI is like two seconds to install. it's even simpler than a car model. it won't make a difference if you're a plumber or an artist, all it is is having some confidence, removing some screws, and attaching to pipes. a puzzle is easier than this. don't even be afraid to do things to your car thinking it will mess it up. if you do it right, it should work.

i was very unlucky because my shiz too a while to come off. 5 hours to be exact... only because my car is a 1997 and it's a bit rusty, so i had to have the right tools to take out the parts. i could not install my CAI because of that stupid air canister in the fender wall... but tomorrow, i'm going to quote: "home depot racing developments" to buy some tubing and move my vapor canister to the back of the car so the intake can go in.

as far as cutting it? i didn't know how to do it until tonight when i asked my friend how to do this. what you should do, is install the CAI but don't screw anything on just yet. then, with a permanent marker, draw a line on the best place to fit the bypass valve. a bypass valve is just another piece of tubing that has vents in the middle. it comes with barbs so don't even think that cutting your CAI in half means destroying it--it sounds terrible at first.

then, once you have a marking on where to cut it, cut it with a saw. make sure that the blades have smaller prickles so that the aluminum cuts easily and can drive through smoothly. the AEM CAI also comes with easy directions which should guide you through every step without any problems.

the seller i bought my AEM CAI was the cheapest. the product was great, new in box, and shipping was fast as hell. ebay user: swervemotorsports

i have been looking at different stuff on here but havent posted but a couple of times. my header took about 30 minutes to put on and i am not good with tools. my intake manifold took about 4 hours cause we did not have the correct tools and piping. the other stuff went quick. best thing is to have a friend who knows what to do.
