Is This Sub Toast?
^^ those a duel subs man, as far a walmart/bestbuy subs go i would deff go with those cheep sony explods me and a friends had a whole explod system in his truck and boy did it pound, ive seen most of them in "action" and would go with explods. im thinking about going with an all walmart system to prove to all the rish spoiled kits that if you know what your doing you dont need to spend 1500 bucks for a lil' base.
UPDATE- i found a rubber cement tube in my house,so i figured i would use that. throughtout the day, i kept putting on coat after coat. next day, i hooked up the sub and for the past couple weeks, its been working with no problems.

Once I was in an audio shop and they had a crack in a sub... they put kitty hair (bondo with fiberglass in it) whatever you want to call it... Directly over the crack and said it would work as if brand new... Now weather it did or not, I have no clue.
I had a friend from a previous car club who won 2 SPL competitions with "fibreglassed' subs. He cracked both of his, put a CD in the centre, FG'd them in place, sanded them down to look pretty, and these things hit harder than they did before they cracked.
Its definitely feasible if you're not willing to spend the money on a new sub, and shouldn't take you very long either, even if you don't know what you're doing.
