yeah it does look like a ton of work..i dunno, i just figure if i can get the parts cheap, i'll be pretty bored this summer and i'll have an alarm to install so i might as well just give it a shot.

the only thing i am unsure about is whether or not the 4 main connectors for the main interior harness are the same between rd1/2. if they are(which i think i was told by a few people), then this will be a peice of cake install. it just looks intimidating, but i have had my crash pad out 4 times now, and it really is not that bad.

if those connectors are different though, you are in for a bunch of wiring. do some checking on webtech between the two models to see if the pin numbers match up correctly. ill look up the connector names and post back here.
