For some reason the paint is not sticking to the primer on the dash. No matter how many coats the primer just seems to seep thru. Did anyone ever have this problem?

Default Paint Doesnt Stick?

What do you mean that it seeps thru? Does the paint kinda like crack up and have weird lines thru it like veins?

no, no matter how many coats you put, once it dries you still see the primer gray.

Well, the last thing I was saying would have to do with if you were applying an enamel to a laquer. You can not paint an enamel on top of a laquer. You can go the other way around, however.

Are you sure the primer and paint are dry? Drag your finger nail thru it.Does it peel right up like it's kinda wet? If so,the problem is humidity.

Primer especially doesn't like to completely dry during humid conditions.

So you were able to drag your nail thru it and have the paint come up?

Yeah,if you think removing paint is a b****,you should try removing heat activated adheasive some time. 8O

EDIT******

Next time, test the paint on something you don't care about.Make sure everything is working correctly. Also, you may want to skip the primer.I've done several paint projects without primer, and things actually worked better without.
