i used bare wire method when i was a n00b and it still works.. fing02.gif but i will be changing it to the solder and shrink tubing method very soon so i don't have to worry about it.

but again, theres no point in spending money on harnesses when it is a complete a waste of money. if you wanna buy harnesses and save yourself 15 minutes, and spend money on it, then that works too.

^^ Hehe, I am not alone, it was the first thing I did to the car and I was very ghetto about it.. it was already chopped up and I used some wire nuts that were in there on most of the wires, and there were a couple of speaker wires which I just twisted and taped with - get this! - scotch tape lmao.gif
It worked with no problem, but a couple of days ago I had most of the dash pieces out anyway and I decided to redo it; I used crimped butt connectors (thanks DTN!)

I would think soldering those wires in that tight space would not be very easy, I would just crimp them..

do you guys mean what i mean? basically a plug that plugs into the OEM radio harness that has wires sticking out of it?

tiburon wiring harness--->aftermarket plug harness from store--->solder wires to---->head unit harness.

will this work? single ISO:
