Keep blowing fuses
from what i understand, his turn on lead for the amp has a rip somewhere in it and is causing his fuse to blow. but wouldnt that cause the fuse on the back of the h/u to blow first? you may wanna check that fuse out dweet too.
yeah i put the 10a back and the fuse in the back of the HU couldnt possibly have blown since it turned on after i removed the line wire. =-P
Ok time for part 2
Well it started as a radio problem but its now an amp problem. My fuse in the fusebox for the HU near the clutchpedal kept blowing and i troubleshot it to line wire that takes the +5 VDC to the amp to turn it on. It had been shorting out somewhere. So I can a new wire checked it and the +5VDC is making it the amp. However the amp isnt turning on. Im kind of stuck at this point. are my amps toast?

You could very well have a problem with the amp(s).You said +5v to turn on the amps? Actually it's supposed to be +12v.If you actually measured +5, then I'd say that one or both amps have a problem to where they are loading down the remote turn on circuit of the hu.And,it's not necessarily both amps.It most likely is only one, dragging down the voltage.I'd disconnect the remote turn on for one,and see if the other turns on.If it doesn't,then re-connect that one and disconnect the other.
