Sorry I didn't relpy sooner. I've been busy working my arse off. Yeah the doors are pretty easy. Two screws on the side, two underneath and some gentle pulling. I got away with not breaking any of the little plug type fasteners. If you do break some they are easily replaced with parts from the local auto store.

* One thing...when you take the doors apart there are two long screws, remember where they go! All of the other screws are the same size. And it's much easier to put the panels back on when the windows are down. Total assembly/reassembly time is about 4 hours. Painting time should probably be overnight to allow proper drying. Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes!*

Hey Zeek this one is for you. First of all, man I just want to tell you what an awesome job who have done with the interior of your Tibby. (I hope I can do just as well). All I am needing to know is if their was a particular brand of paint that you used. Also, did you just spray paint the pieces or did you use a professional paint sprayer. What do you suggest? I look forward to getting wit ya. Thanks Man.

Thanks for the Props Rev. Congratulations on being a new daddy. I used regular enamel spray-paint from the hardware store. I didn't feel like spending a lot of money on paint, just in case I didn't like it or messed it up. If you have the money I would get the Folia-Tec Interior Spray. I've seen it used on some Hondas and it looks real good. I think it's like $50.

Fast.Shark...have fun with that part. I forgot to warn you that it's the biggest pain in the ass of all. I did it the hard way by using a socket wrench with a screwdriver bit. You can get about 1 inch of clearance and the entire knob cluster is attached to the back of the dash piece. I think I heard somwhere else that you can unattach the heater cable which is up under the right side of the drivers footwell. It's a little yellow piece that sort of looks like a throttle. I read this a while ago, but I remember them saying it was easier and you didn't have to get to those screws. Check out the help manulas here or at Fxtreme.org for more help. Again good luck. I wish I was there to help you, it would be way easier to work with you than trying to tell you about it!

Do those door vents just pop out? Or should I take the door apart first then get them out? I'm happy with how it's turning out so far...now if I ever want the blk/gry stock color...how can I get the white off? Also Zeek...What is that on your passenger speaker grill? Not to steal an idea but im doing just like Zeek's..cuz I know it'll look good when im all done. How did you paint you steering wheel Logo? Did it turn out nice or is that picutre just not zoomed in enough.......

Holy Crap that's a lot of questions! OK here we go...

IAGO...that's a white cover that I bought at Target. Wasn't really looking for one but when I saw the white cover to match the rims I jsut had to have it. Lame, I know.

FAST.SHARK...You have to take the door panel off to get to the defroster vents for the side view mirrors.

Some paint thinner should get the paint off, but it's gonna be messy and may not turn out that well since the plastic is a porous material.

The mark on my passenger side door grill is from one of my drunk homies that kicked the door with his steel toe boots as he fell out of the car. Oh well, just a scuff.

That's cool if you do it like me because I modified the idea from someone else anyways. I think the part on the door panel looks sweet colored. It's like Hyundai knew it was meant to be painted.

I painted the Crooked H and other parts with a bottle of touch up paint from the dealership which had a tiny brush attached to the cap. It turned out real well even though the picture doesn't show it.

I think that's all of them. I'm always willing to help out because these forums are the only way for Tiburon owners to spread the good ideas.

I was just kidding with you about the cel phone, man...I figured it was just a replacement faceplate. Nice touch, though! Kinda like Lo&Sho (or was it Long?), who painted his radar detector to match the rest of his interior.
