I want to paint my interior. How much does a interior paint job cost. And wouldn't I have to take out my factory carpet and install some more? Cam yall post some tips and details? Thanks
I don't know of a cost for having a shop do it, but I did it myself for like $10. When I installed my SR guages I had to take a bunch of parts off, so I decided to take the door panels off too. I had my entire interior in pieces all over my apartment floor. I wouldn't reccommend this project to the mechanically declined, but it saved me a lot of money and I love doing things myself. By the way I am a senior in college studying Architectural Engineering, so I guess I have a natural ability for taking things apart and putting them back together. wink.gif
Nice job man. You just made up my mind for me. I'm doing my interior this weekend. Also in Wht/but with Orange pieces too. I never took by interior apart except to install my x'plode cd unit. Is there any pointers/tips/tricks? Or a chart as to where all the screws are? Also, how well does the wht. stay clean? I'm guessing you used a type of clear coat. Can you wash that with say soap and water? And have it looking new w/o any paint fading.....Just a few questions for ya...Thanks man...$hit maybe...I might even do it tommorow...How long did it take you?
Hey man check out Randoms gauge install site to take the dash off. The doors just come off with a couple of screws and some careful pulling. Let us know how it goes, Later
