not sure if this should be here or general performance.

i want to put in a simple 2 way remote start and alarm system in my tib for awhile now. i was just wondering if anyone has installed one on there own.

which ones are good.

i was looking at ultrastart and astrostart.

for 5 speed

i was also wondering if 01tiburons have the chip in the key.

i recommend using a magnetic reed switch for autostarting manual transmissions. you can find a picture of how i used it by searching through my posts with "magnetic" probably.

does it really matter if the model is a year old or brand new? whats the difference?

but yea, if you could get me a price on the model 1256m and maybe a install guide that would be great.

thanks

tibby01

i found the posts about the switch but there in not alot of detail on how to install it.

also how do you bypass the clutch switch? do you just wire around it as in just take the switch completely out?

as you can see im kinda lost on the whole switch cutoff thing. any way you have time to do a little diy for it??

that would be awesome if you could

thanks
