i also had this issue.. just cuz the yellow thing moves doesn't mean it moves the lever.. that was my problem, the lever wasn't interlocked to the yellow gear.. make sure the little knob from the lever (that switches the air from cold to hot) is in the slot on the yellow gear.

 

Also make sure the cable is going through the right path, I put mine back together the other day and theres a metal bar, if I'm not mistaken its supposed to go on the inside of the metal bar, when mine went to the outside it would only allow partial movement.

Yeah and the yellow part comes disconnected from the white part that it's supposed to be moving like socks said.

 

I'm going to search on HMA services but can anyone take a pic of the yellow lever so I can see how it's supposed to all fit together
