You sure about those three screws? From what I can remember they secure the vinyl to the metal in the door panel. I think he wants to remove the entire door panel together. The three screws go right into the holes in the metal. I remember when I had all the glass in my door panel and was driving around, pieces of glass would come through those holes.

The 3 screws on the bottom of the Tiburon(GEN1 and GEN2) interior door panels do not to be removed,in order to remove the panel from the door.I have removed mine numerous times, and also modified the door panels.The only thing those 3 bottom screws do is secure the map pocket to the interior door panel.That's it! They do nothing else.
