Most sunglasses...al least most of the nicer ones are metal frames now

I'll never wear metal frame sunglasses. I prefer wrap around lenses, and sunglasses that stay put. I currently own three pairs of Smith sunglasses, two of them Slider series. Great for any outdoor activities since they never slip when you're sweaty, and multiple lenses for different light conditions, plus polarized or photochromic options. I use the clear lenses for eye protection when working with tools as well.

More affordable? Well, my favorite pair set me back 160 after with the carbonic option and extra clear lenses. Worth it for me because they never slip when biking.

None of those would fit in the holder. I have a clip-on holder for the visor, but usually keep them in the case.

i use it from time to time. but most times im running late and just throw them in the seat. I have fake Oakleys so i could care less if they get jacked up or not. I have a ton of different pairs so i say scrap it and use it for something else.

You can get relays with the wiring plugs for at little as $1 each on ebay. Name brand ones for $3. Example.

If you go to Best Buy or Circuit City to get one, expect to pay at least $20.

Add a pulse timer for under $15 and you're good to go.

You don't need to use a VSTD relay. Set the pulse timer properly and you won't damage the sunroof motor.

i'll look into it. If it comes out cheaper then the GB that they have going on soon, i'll open this back up i guess. but for $45 they get wiring harness, plugins, adapters, the whole kit and kaboodle to one touch open and one touch close everything in the car. sunroof and both windows.

That's a good deal if you don't want to mess with doing it yourself, and you don't want any different functions, sounds like a simple to install kit.

The easiest way to DIY but with a little more $ would be to get a DEI 529T for $25 off ebay, and wire it into the ignition if you don't have an alarm. That can also provide the one touch open/close feature for sunroof or windows. But that definitely takes a bit of knowledge to set up.

the knowledge isn't the thing.. If they have a kit that is plug and play, why would i want to splice wires to do about the same thing.
