hahaha, yea i think it was molded rice from the wing.... that was funny.

i think it has something to do with the stereo because i ran all my wires through the center consol next to the parking break.

i installed the stereo and the exhuast the same day so either the welder arched something or there is an open ground or power wire in the stereo wiring.

DUDE!!!

I've been having the SAME EXACT problem, not similar, but the same damn lights staying on dimly. Now I have a CEL too, and the light from that spreads across to some of the other indicators too.

But I dont know what the problem is, because it never did this in my old interior stuff. My 1st gen gauges never had an problems and I had the same exact stereo setup as I do now, but the ebrake light, and battery just dimly stay on, and blink while I'm driving???

i am wondering if it has to do with the load on the alternator or something. i know when i had a maonster stereo system in one of my cars i had to put in a better alternator for the power. i wonder if it is a little much for a stock alternator or something.

i still cant check mine because my engine is still out. i hooked a battery up in my car so i could check out the new bros guages but i cant check the dummy lights due to the engine. when i had the battery in just to check the guages, all my dummy lights were fine and i have been listening to the stereo while i work on the interior.

i have a feeling it has something to do with the grounds and the alternator.

try taking the fuse out and putting it back in. sometimes that will fix stupid problems like that.
