I would start with something small first like the 6x9 box in the DIY. Even if you are not going to use them, you will get experience and if they turn out good, I am sure that you can sell them on ebay.

Blu, your sig pic is WAY too big. Shrink it down so it doesn't take up more than 10 lines of text.

Blue sorry for it being so long before i replied. Mine are for 12". There is a story behind them but the original guy that had them made paid 500 bucks. That included makeing them and paint. But i had bought my enclosure for 375 because the guys up where i get my stuff were pissed at the guy that had them made. But if theres anymore info on them that you would like PM me or IM me or just leave something on here. And btw it looks cool and hopefully the changes you are makeing will come out well. Good luck man

Your sub/amp rack set up looks pretty cool.Couple q's:

(1)It looks like the wood floor/sub baffle is simply just placed onto the floor, over the spare tire well.Did you secure it to the car? Do you have an actual enclosure formed,or are you using an infinite baffle sub?

(2)Are you using accoustic carpet over the sub?

No it is not just on the floor,
- I first made a wooden frame, about 3" high.
- Damped the sparewell and floor with dynamat.
- Put some plastic foil on top, then the frame and made a first layer of fiberglass.
- Then removed the frame with this first layer and started to build it up, layer after layer, think I did 5 or 6 layers, internal and external.
- It's a bass reflex setup when the top goes on, so the enclosure is formed by the sparewell and trunkfloor, completly sealed with a "bass port" and about 3 cubft.
- It fits like a glove and need some force to go back in, but it's also secured on the floor by bolts.

Not accoustic carpet on top, just some plain home carpet, it's internal damped with the foam.
It's almost finished now, carputer is in, everything is connected and has been tested, 134.2 on SQL. Not much, but I'm satisfied and it sound great they told me. Will update the pictures on the enclosure a bit more and the rest of the install, gives a beter view on things.

And thanks for the comments.
