Has anyone made or know anyone who has made a custom FG sub enclosure? i would really like to see how it was done and where they positioned it. im fixing to start working on mine and i would like a few ideas about the best placement and fit.

There are ALOT of things to know about fiberglassing.It takes time and skill.I don't think most people could jump right into a FG project the 1st time out and do a really good job.I'm not trying to scare you or say you should not do it.Just want you to be aware of that fact that it takes time to get good at using the stuff.

Well the first thing is to build a test box using particle board or MDF.The later is better.You want to build a test box first so you can see:
(1)If you like the particular sub,and
(2)so you can see what position is best.

I have found more times then not,that firing the sub towards the hatch door is best.But, don't listen to me.Try it out for yourself and see what you like.

Once you know how you want to aim it,etc,then you can start thinking about how to build it with FG.
