I got news for ya, there are several other things that effect arrival time, and length of wire is the least of the problems.I've done experiments with wire length, and my discriminating ears couldn't hear any differance.

haha... do you know how much resistance a 30 foot piece of wire has.... not enough to make any difference. i did the install on saturday, and i must say that i am EXTREMELY pleased with the outcome. i have my tweets mounted up on the A-pillars and the crossovers mounted in the doors. I love the way the speakers sound. i will take some pics some day.... i've got a lot of new goodies to show off.

A-pillars aren't too bad, but I was just doing some measurements the other day and the path-length differences aren't very good. They are not terrible, but not as good as the factory dash location.Just thought I'd throw that out there. 8)

Ok before everyone gangs up on me, i never said that length was the only thing to effect the arrival time, i just said it was something to think about. And about the resistance of a wire, you have to consider the gauge of it as well. If your running 4g all around than there would be very little siganl lost, but if you ran something as small as 26g, than i would say your gonna lose some. So i would beg to differ that a 30ft wire is gonna give you the same signal power that a 4 ft wire would. And also with near 30 ft of wire running the whole distance of you car, there is a better chance of getting interference from another electrical source. So im not saying that you must do this or you must do that, i was just trying to help out by throwing a few things out there to consider. O and cdotibby1, if your just gonna laugh and tell me that a 30 ft wire running the whole distance of your car is going to do just the same as a wire thats 4 ft long confined to one small area, than y did you ask for advice in the first place. I can tell you that it will make a difference, maybe a small one but it will. And if you mounted the tweets in the a pillers, that means the one of the driver side is right next to your ear in comparison to the one mounted on the other side of you car. That with out a doubt will sound unbalanced unless you tweak the balance on your HU. Also i always read on this forum that "if any parts gonna gain you at least 1hp, than its worth it". So to me doing it the best way possible is the only way.
