The glass sensors are about an extra 120 bucks. MIne was much less as they made me a good package deal.

LOL, go with Alpine you can get all of that stuff and it comes with it. I just got mine before the pager was an option and never paid to have it added.....the infra red came with it.

OUCH REDZ... dont be dissin alpine... actually i've read into the alpine alarm series and they are highly recommended, you can actually buy packages that include the window sensors and infra red... the pack is a pain to install tho, recommended professional... and i mean PROFESSIONAL installation!

Okay, fantastic, I still don't like Alpine.

Just too much for too little.

How much is their alarm with that whole setup?

haha, a lot cheaper now than when I got mine. I have had it for at least 8 years and still working like a champ. This is the second car I have had it in. I agree with the Alpine statement Redz....but there alarms are the shiz. I would buy another one in a heartbeat, but I would recommend professional installation. The brain box is fairly small and is easy to hide. You have to get into my car to cut any wires on the alarm. laugh.gif

I installed my own Alpine alarm last summer. I am very impressed with it. I will be looking at adding the pager feature this year. Yes it was a Biatch to install.

The wire thing, that's why I'm getting that auxillary alarm for mine. When your alarm goes off, both sirens wail, they get in the car and cut the wires, but if the wires to the second one are cut (This one you hide in the trunk or something), then the only way to turn it off is by a small key. It's VERY sturdy and has a steel case of some sort and is almost impossible to destroy unless you take it out and crush it or shoot it.

Very nice.
