Default Angel Vents?!

Well, after experimenting with the DIY for angel eyes... i got to thinking, and came up with this. unfortunately, it was too cold and the day ended too soon to get to the dash vents, and the other door. but now that i sorta know what i'm doing, the next warm-ish day here in new york will be the day to finish this up. I also think that i want to fix the bright spot where the LEDs are, and move it to the top left, where it isn't quite as visible.

that could be very possible with a little knowhow with the heater dial wiring... there are 2 LEDs in each ring, you COULD put one red and one blue that would alternate on/off to light the ring.

Thanks mang.

You know if I could rate you 5 again, I would.

Love the dash too. Think that's the first time I've seen yours.

EDIT: BTW, are you using the Acrylic rod like the guy in the DIY? Hard/easy to use? Also, how hard is it to get those cuts spaced?

yeah, i'm using the blinds/acrylic rod. before i heat it in my toaster oven at 350 degrees, i put it next to a ruler and mark off the ticks (3mm apart) with a thin sharpie, and cut when the circle is perfect. it took me about 3 or 4 re-heats to get it just right. and even though the rod is very pliable when heated, i just use my hands to hold it, it's not so hot you need to use pliers. oh, and use the lip of the top of a soda can for just about the right size in these locations.
Viper, what did you do to overload the LED? i've been known to be an idiot at times, so if you could gimme a heads up, i'd appreciate it.
