Alarm/remote Start
QUOTE (KayJai)
So there's not "press this button for 10 secs,... do the rain dance,... and hold your nose" for the thing to sequence.
I hope you're not referring to Clifford, because pressing one button one time for remote start is about as simple as it gets, and it's highly configurabe.
Although you can set the Intellistart to auto prepare every time, and auto start when you later disarm, just as the alarm can auto arm when you exit the car, that's too much automation for me. I use my remote start maybe 50% of the time, if that. It attracts unwanted attention, and I prefer to hide the fact that I have expensive electronics as often as possible.

So it looks like most people like CompuStar, right? I'm guessing the 2WSS-AS is the best for remote start & alarm? I like the way KayJai's alarm works, what model is that?
Don't get the 2WSS-AS Spread spectrum, this was the first attempt at spread spectrum technology.
They have issues with distance, some cars, like nissans, work great, but for our Hyundais, for some reason, distance is halfed. Tried it on my tib, and XD and an LC accent. Think it's the metal hyundai uses, too thick or something, nissans are know to have thin metal,....
Get the 2W900FM-AS, it's just as long, trust me.
