Hey i wsa looking at putting some switches under my cd player, i was hopting to make it flush with the dash so it looks like its all one piece. any DIY or ways to do this? i was thinking fiberglass but would that work? also if anyone whose actually done FG work want to do it for me lol id gladly pay. if you have any other ideas/places please post and pics would be nice as well.

You mean a place for extra switches?
I would say buy the OEM rear foglight switch from Europe, if you still need more you don't have to FG anything man, buy a toggle switch, drill a hole. simple as that.

In the center console thing, there's that angular piece (the first one), not the triangle and not the coin holder, but the other one..I put a switch there, it's very subtle and fits perfect, looks cool too, but not ricey.

yea for extra switches, like the one someone put in there ash tray( i forget who but they had 6) i want it to look as tho its flush. and im not sure how many id need but def more than 3

just got a sheet of cf, cut out some holes in it, and then stuck it in there.

^^how do i get it to stick in there? just put some sealant or super glue round the edge? lol i guess no one has a tip to make it FLUSH?

the pocket thing that is stock for that opening, i sanded it down to allow for the extra clearance of the sheet of cf. then i epoxied the cf to the pocket, and stuck it in there.

personally, I would not make it flush.. it would look better slightly indented.

When I put my drawer in the console, believe it or not, I used plastic wood putty to fill it in and smooth it out. Once it is painted, it looks great.
