they look cool, but you would never see me spending 100 dollars on gauge faces.

the best set ive ever made was jaws. it has non-el SR faces, with led lighting behind them, instead of bulbs. it looks pimp.
if you dont mind the kph, i would get the bros gauges form kspec, and then light them with leds.

How bad are these to install? I saw the ones on the ebay link, and it says you do not have to remove the needles.. Is this true w/ all of them? I know getting those needles on correctly is a b**** 02.gif
getting the needles on correctly is really easy. if you carefully bend the faces though, you shouldnt have to take the needles off.
TACH AND SPEEDO
turn car to "ON". take needles off and place directly on at zero.
TEMP
let car idle for 10 minutes, place back on in the middle
FUEL
go fill up, put needle on at full. be sure to check things out when you fill back up, to make sure its close towards the bottom of the gauge.

yea, most likely you'll have to take the gauges out. this is after the dash is dismantled.... which is MUCH easier than you'd think. do it a few times and you'll never even flinch at it again. don't forget to unhook the heater!
pretty much just unplug those biatches, and unsnap the CLEAR plastic piece from the gauges and the black snaps, and the BLACK one too - exposing the gauge faces that you'll be replacing.
NOW depending on your kit, you may have to do some customizing, or if may drop right in.
and yes, it's kinda' tricky to get those needles back to reality. i'm sure you just have to do it a few times to get the feel.
EDITED looks like tibby got you first

i would also suggest putting some THIN double sided tape on the backs of the new faces, and then lay them on the stock ones. this will keep them from interferring with the needle.
Well on the same general topic. If you have bought overlays. Is it possible to cut the original gaugues off and then put the new ones on without removing the needles? The AOS gauges show that removing the needles is not needed. But will doing the above (cutting off stock gauges) help make them not rub?
