quik question are rd1's and rd2's gauges the same? got a chance to buy white faces off a rd2 and i have a rd1.

 

no, they're not

very similar.... but not identical

in fact.... i think the RD2 gauges work better for RD1s than the OEM ones. or is it the other way around?

no, they are not the same. the warning lights will be off, and so will some of those little black plastic needles that the gauge needles rest on.

i think he's right about that too even if you get cheap ones for the RIGHT generation. it took me some cutting and what not to get mine to work.

 

the EL gauges you see on ebay that have the CF look grid in indiglow are meant for the rd1 cluster.

EL faces like the BOMZ ones(solid circle instead of grid) are for the rd2 cluster.

i dont know about the faces that are full indiglow.

 

what would you say would be the best deal, quality and price for faces, the el off ebay or bros, what do you sugest?

i'm not sure what ones they are . getting them from canandian shark he says there silver not white . so can they work?

Spend a little more and get the silver AOS Rev. Indiglo gauges.....Trust me you'll love them.

I even talked REDZ into replacing his ebay faces w/ them.
