haha, I'm not that crazy about weight reduction smile.gif As you can see all the stuff that I removed take about 10-15mins of work. If I wanted to go crazy, I'd remove:
door panels, speakers, HU, AC, muffler, HU, glove box, every single piece of carpet, I'd get an aluminum seat, etc... lol
but I'm not that crazy smile.gif

I did remove my floor mats, as well as cover up for spare tire in the trunk, all that together was about 20lbs!!!

I'll keep the glovebox, simply because I store a lot of useful stuff in it, but thanks for the suggestion smile.gif

Stock car weighs anywhere from 2630-2750lbs I believe.

wouldnt that cause the hood to 'warp' with all the heat under there?

I've heard that also helps with engine temperatures as well. Less stuff soaking up the heat, so it helps it escape. Do that and raise the hood with them spacers and that'll help you out.

As usual you didn't read man.

Take the glovebox out so you can take the face of it off and get the BIG METAL HEAVY ASS PLATE out of the way.

Then put it back together and reinstall the box.
