i have a simple solution for the douche bag telling you to buy a real car... slash his tires then tell him to buy some real tires ! if your really annoyed by the nay sayers and your losing sleep at night over it, buy a different car. if you dont care, just keep focused on that 15.5 second goal, and youll hit it.



oh and then ask them if their car was ever in the WRC. or any other racing league for that matter.

And the main thing to know about this is.. I have a friend with a 2000 civic hatchback...Not Rice.. This guy runs 14,9 seconds.. And it pisses me off..

MY tib will never run that.. what the worse in all this?? Is engine is a B20B ( 2 liter non vtec ) with 145hp.. He says it (chipped) and he is around 170 hp.. I believe it because he can race a V8 mustang.. All this with a SIR transmission.. Just would love to race him and ACTUALLY BE NEAR HIM loll

 

I'm relatively new to the Hyundai world, but I do know one thing. Honda's take to NA tuning like a fish to water. The Beta engines take like that to boosting. If you want to beat your Honda friend, take the advise and save for a good turbo. I'll admit I'm all for the NA tune, even for my 01 Tib. But I don't drag race, I just drive "Grandma to church" as it was put earlier.



Besides that fella these cars turn like a cat on carpet. Do some road/track racing.

i sprayed well into the 130k miles range (210000 km) never had a issue until I DID SOMETHING TO BLOW IT UP by increasing the shot into a unsafe range



keep it at a 50shot and i wouldnt be surprised if you get that 15.5 with just that



now, your times do seem sorta high based on the fact that your practically at sea level, i ran that time at 7000 feet high whats your 60 foot? trap speed?
