Should I do these mods???
Ok so I have a 03 tib.. CAI exhaust and headers.. This guy is charging me around 500 to port my intake manifold and oversize my throttle body! this price includes him installing all of this.. He says this will get me around 10 to 12 hp with the mods I have already..
So im thinking this would put me at around 165 to 170 hp.. 140 stock .. CAI + 5 .. Exhaust and headers +12 and 12 with these mods..
My absolute goal is to win a drag race against a V6 mustang .. auto or manuel..
Give me feedback !!

I think you are about to get ripped off. Edit: Nvm on the TB, misread that.
Also, as stated in another thread. Horsepower does not add like that based on bolt on mods.

12 hp is pushing it. You're looking at more like 6-8. And 165-170 is not wheel hp. Its at the crank. So at the wheels, you may have 130-140.

also to add, i dynoed 153 with an AEM cold air intake, 2.5 inch custom exhaust, 4-1 header, high flow cat, apexi N1 muffler, lightened Valeo flywheel, valeo hyper clutch and UR crank pulley, back in 2004 or 05 on a hot and sunny 93 degree Florida day.
i never got the chance to dyno with the GTR 60mm TB and Ram Air intake. but i would imagine only 5 more ponies with that on.

PLEASE contact denis at atelierHP hes not far, he knows everything you could possibly want to know about your own car, and he wont rip you off
even if you stopped by and just TALKED to him about different routes
the pricing for a ported intake is decent, just make sure he isnt just gasket matching and calling it a day, i paid roughly 400 for a full custom IM, but it did have its issues that required more work than it was worth
for you, i recommend if you truly want a ported intake, save the money and send it to extrude hone to have it ported that way IIRC its like 500 bux for a AWESOME ported intake
in all reality i highly recommend you look into nitrous, its not as scary as everyone makes it seem
for the hp per $ you just cant beat it, i could take a completely stock ALPHA with nothing but a 60 shot and beat you with your fully NA planned beta

im not saying your a ricer, but you have been caught red handed using ricer math broski. but at least your looking into the more important aspects of NA tuning.
but yea, if it were cold air, i would have better numbers ! also if you disconnect the power steering belt and AC belt, even better !
