I'll pm you with the part number. It came with the shark spoiler kit so i dunno on the price. I do you you will need two of those ball joints/hex nuts to mount them. You can't take the old ones out unless you cut the strut with a plasma cutter or something. The two nuts are like eleven dollars from the dealer (rip-off!) and that's with an automotive shop discount. But I'm sure you could find them at Napa or something.

next mod: finish painting engine bay and engine dress-up kit.

They won't fit. 00-01 RD2s use a slightly shorter support than the RD1. I had to learn that the hard way, the trunk will not latch with RD1 supports installed. Anyone need a set of lift supports for an RD1? wink1.gif

If you have a spoiler that came stock, then you already have the strongest supprts you can get for an RD2. RD1s had a third option because of the shark spoiler.

Also, from what I have been told stock supports have non-removable ball joints, and the ones for spoilers have removable ones. You can only get them from a dealer, and 11 dollars was a bargain. I don't know why my new set didn't come with any, but I wasn't pleased.

Tibby01, if just one of your supports is going bad, I have an extra fully-charged one for an RD2 I'll give ya cheap.

Why not just measure our struts and buy some aftermarket ones? There are TONS of them out there.

The last mod i did was to install my 2.25 exhaust that i bought from viper, it has a hi-flow cat (not a test pipe) a glasspack and a resonator and at the end of it i installed an OBX straight thru muffler. everything but the stainless steal muffler is coated with a high temperature red paint to ensure itll last. That sucker sounds mean. real low and throaty, no buzzing. got some all around power and im really satisfied.

Project took three days because everything was a hassle lol, getting the old exhaust off took a day and a half and a hacksaw, and putting the new one on took one and a half days, a bunch of sweat, adapters, more hacksawing, and other miscelaneous parts. I got it done right in time to pack and go back to college. i would do pics but i dont have a camera on me at campus, ill try tho
