How much gains do you think I would I see from a Haltech computer and a good tune? And would a 2.0L engine from a 03 Tib bolt right up without many headaches?

I would not tune our cars N/A... There really is not a point as our cars learn, or tune them selves as you drive... You might squeeze a few extra hp out of it maybe...

the 03 Beta II... It will bolt in but wont start, there are threads about the swap, I want to say it is just a few sensors have to be swapped from the original beta 1...

Not with a Haltech. It replaces the ECU, it's not a piggyback.

How much extra hp do you think you can you make? Is it worth the money and time and tuning to make the hp your gonna add by going standalone?

haltech ecu's are upwards of $1000 for the good ones... i think u can get one of em for like $600-700
a tune will help get more out of the 1.8 pistons too

edit: was that a waterbottle for a catch can in that video? lmao

Yea 200hp+ is nice....when you still have a torque curve, and didn't drop almost 100ftlbs. I'm sure they don't see max hp to well into the rpm band, like 7k, cause they raised to around 8k. They don't really give you a good shot of the graph. Any stock performance car would DESTROY that tib off the line and probably a 1/4mi

Sorry, not impressed. That video right there should tell you how useless it is to N/A mod. It took a PROFESSIONAL shop/tuner IN KOREA to achieve this goal. I know it hasn't been done before, so props to them. I wish they listed the time/money invested.

It took me some money and a week in the garage at my house to achieve more hp, and that's my baseline, it only goes up from there

Unless your running a very aggressive N/A set up, i don't see the Haltech being that useful unless you have turbo plans in the future

I believe the torque in that graphic is kilogram meter.

So 21.77 kilogram meter = 157.462 711 11 pound foot.

i seriusly hope you didnt think the 21.30, 21.45, 21.47 etc in the MAX Torque area is in Ft.Lbs.

please tell me you don't believe that car has 21 FtL.bs, cause that would make my day
