Yes

Yes and Yes

Remove the test pipe completely! It its place, get a cat and weld two flanges on it that will match the other two.

yes when i bought those headers they came with a test pipe (not mentioned but it was nice).

just had the Summit brand glasspack installed (24") ontop of having a Catco hight flow cat. now there is pretty much no buzzzzzzzzz.

also, while your headers are of, they will make your engine bay Very hot. you can go to Autozone and get some tan heat wrap to stop that if you want (or buy black online)

a local shop will def. be able to extend the 02 sensor for you. and yes you put the 1st one in the header not the flexpipe.... other than that.... umm. good luck man.

yea i was surprised to see the test pipe too, so you didn't use your's at all?

Also would I just be able to re-use my stock cat after the downpipe? not only would I not have to buy another cat, but that way the o2 sensor after the cat wouldn't throw a cel anyways would it?

Thanks again for all the help guys!

stock cat will be fine.. unless your taking yout car to the track and trying to squeeze EVERY ounce of power out of the car, theres no need to get a high flow cat.

plus keeping the stock cat will help lower the noise of the exhaust..

so you getting glasspack or muffler for inline on your exhaust? glasspacks would be cheaper and effective.

i would just sell the test pipes online for like 10$ a piece + shipping.

I'm guessing the inlets of the muffler should be the same size as the diameter of the piping? The magnaflow link has 2.5" inlets, but my piping is only 2''

How much should it run to have the muffler put in the straight portion? thanks

I measured the diameter of the opening of the pipe and it was 2", but from the outside of the pipe the diameter is 2.5", which measurement do I use?

lol.. you need a new measuring tool. theres no way the walls on that piping are 1/4" thick.. haha.gif

you would use the outside dimension when looking for an inlet size to match up.

well I decided to be resoureful and look back at eric's original for sale post, if you average my two measurements it was right, 2.25" smile.gif I went the the magnaflow muffler, and I'm planning on using the first stock cat

I shouldn't even get a cel with the second cat gone should I? My second o2 sensor will be right after the stock cat, it's welded into the begining of the straight part of the pipe.
