guys take a look, I think that arrow is pointing on the air filter

I can't tell, the pic is too far away. If he takes a closer one, I'd be able to see.
Get us a closer pic of your maf, will you?
DTN, that was uncalled for.
Also, you should check for vaccum leaks asap, as it's happening under harder accelleration, it could easily be that. Check your intake elbow up there for a crack at the bottom or where you can't see it.
I say his looks like mine in here from what I can see.

Think about this dtn....if the maf had the arrow pointing towards the filter than the sensor wouldn't be able to plug into the right hand side, it would have to plug into the left hand side near the engine. It can't be the maf.
i took the throttle body and the elbow off yesterday....no leaks.

well you can connect the maf backwards and have the harness on the same side
just turn the it upside down and have the harness upside down...
grab a can of brake cleaner and spray down everythin lookin for vaccum leaks (with the car running) if you have a leak the motor will change idle

Yeah, sorry, I've been following this topic for a while and when Dmitry posted that, it pissed me off because we covered the sensor in this topic on the 4th of may. it shouldn't be this difficult. my appologies.
Have you replaced any parts since this started, have you tried to clean anything? have you repaired anything?

okay really, YOU are all dicks because how many of you have connected your maf upside down? you can't do it backwards because there isn't enough wiring to connect the harness on then. now, I connected my maf on upside down once, and i'll tell you what happens (AGAIN)
the car WONT IDLE
smoke pours out of the exhaust because its running so rich and you need to basically give it half throttle to idle.
the maf can absolutely NOT be his problem.....and if it is then i guess someone slap me in the face later on.
at this point, i'll get you the TPS on monday, switch that out, and until then check all your hoses for kinks/leaks...
btw i'd check the oil building up in the MAF thing, that's happened before, and you say you just re-oiled the filter? hmm. i went out and bought the new AEM paper filters personally, but never had any problems with either the oiled or non oiled so.
