Okay, first thing I'd tell you to do is this.

1. Go to Walmart or wherever you can find it and run a can of B12 Chemtool through your fueltank. Do it when it's pretty empty. Just follow the directions on the can. Use this stuff every 5 to 6 gas tanks.

2. Get that Keifco TPS and get it installed ASAP.

3. Get a can of brake cleaner and check for vaccum leaks.

4. Has your fuel filter been replaced?

5. I don't remember you saying you replaced or looked at the plugs, take a look at them.

6. Get your OBDII port scanned for any pending CEL's.

be careful not to tear off fuel lines!

64K miles on a fuel filter is a way too much!

I change it every 10-20K miles

hey man i hope between the TPS, a new fuel filter, and some fuel system cleaner your problem will be gone.

once you get a paypal acct let me know and i'll try to get it out asap, i've been so busy this week that i am due to a trip to the post office ive been postponing...final week sucks. i didn't sleep last night...now i'm at work and get off at 11 then have to finish my 8 page research paper which is only half done and study for my physics test. damn..lol.

anyway, did you change your plugs too?

btw redz, i don't think his maf is upside down, the car barely idles with the maf in the wrong way and runs suuper rich so the car smokes like crazy.

Thanks for finally putting up the pics.

Few new questions.

1. Magnecore wires? Not really the greatest, you might be getting a lot of resistance in those. Try a set of OEM ones and see what happens.

2. Get that TPS replaced ASAP mang. You can get one on here for cheap, or at the junkers. Get a Keifco TPS.

3. Have you checked for vaccum leaks? You could have on under high throttle.

4. AEM intake. How long has it been on? What filter do you have on it? Oiled or non oiled type? If it's the oiled type, sometimes with too much oil on it you get oil vapor up in the intake and it'll coat your MAF sensor inside and you won't get a good reading. Might wanna check it out and clean your filter and MAF.

5. You broke your oil dipstick. LOL

^^^

I just got the magnecor wires a week ago and replaced the oem wires (took care of the misfiring)

I bought a tps from zoned

3. haven't checked for vaccum leaks yet....i'll give that a shot.

I've had the aem for almost a year and i just cleaned and re-oiled the filter about 3 weeks ago. I'll check inside the maf tomorrow.

I know about the dipstick....i broke it when I put the header on...haha
