chances are.. there is more to the weave than just the few strands you see. Personally, the only flexpipes I have seen go bad.. are the old style Vdub ones with the ball socket joint in the exhaust and a pair of spring loaded pins to hold it together. The flex joints mad out of weave are MUCH better.
