its kind of simple...depending how long you have worked on cars...you can stand right over the engine block with the car on and play a lil with the accleration spring..if u listen closely..u can hear the exhaust leak from the flex pipe if its weave is damaged. It's hard to describe the sound to you so there's another way...get under your car and check the weave.. the flex pipe is weaven in an exact patern..if u notice the patern disrupted check where it leads too and check if you may have a leak or any slits you can notice.. make sure u check the top from over the engine block with ur hood up aswell..

doesn't seem to hurt my performance. I so far the fastest car with a CAI on this website smile.gif

I just want to know how you messed yours up. Even rallying did not kill the flex pipe in my old excel.... broke where it welded to the rest of the exhaust, but the weave was fine even after several groundings.

Bought it like that. But I'm not really sure if it's leakin exhaust or not.

oh.... that is different. You could always wait for a day that is chilly and damp out.. the kind of days when steam comes out of the exhaust. Apon start up and the first couple of minutes, you might get some steam.... your other alternative is to get the car on a lift or ramps.. someplace really secure... start her up cold and quickly crawl under there and feel around... I just do not suggest actually touching anything.
