When he hits a bump or vibrates just right it's making a connection and uping the idle. Get this fixed first. it may be that the MAP is changing values when the TPS isn't reading because it's in the deadspot
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Don't try to fix these things yourself, get it fixed somewhere with a warranty.</div> dude, these are simple problems. Maybe the exhaust leak could be fixed at a shop where they could torque it down to mfg specs, but the 2 sensors will be an easy fix.

now i definitely want to know the outcome of this. take DTN's advice. i've heard "dae sung" = crap on here too many times on here. reason i ruled that out was because that wouln't that cause rpm's to rise and drop irraticly? of course i could be wrong it could just be the causing the throttle to open and close. sure replacing that would be an easy fix.
i'm concerned because if you replace that and the problem is still there you'll be short. i guess what i mean by a shop is you get that garuntee if they fix it and that fails then you can always go back an they have to fix it for free once you've paid.
i'm such a bum.

well i am a fricken dumba** and im sure ill get flamed for this but i took some time tonight under the hood to check out every square inch around the MAP, so anyways i have no idea how i missed the 10 other times ive been under the hood the past week and a half but anyways the Map had somehow come off of the elbow tube thats on the TB, so I put that back on started the car up and it instantly sounded better and was idiling much much better, so i reset the ECU and everything is fine and dandy right now lol, but i will be getting a new TPS as i did find out that it is a Dae Sung lol and i was also wondering if a plastic bag that got sucked up onto the radiator and started to melt would be able to cause the burning smell in the car lol.....Thanks for helping me through my stupidity guys lol
