Was that an reference to DTN's comment about a rogue high speed raindrop?

If so, well played.

i did damage one MAF and one idle motor once..

the winter snow and slush had block the drain of a little bridge, the bridge is locate much lower then the rest of the road so most of the water collected there..

i did saw the water ,but slowed and let the oncoming car cross the water, looked like it was about 3" deep..
wrong!
on my side it was at least 8" deep, without knowing that i drove across it.. car stalled right in the middle of it...
strated it up with lots of luck.. drove and what appeared like a 3 cylinder engine, (i taught i've bent a connecting rod from all the water)

after work i looked at the car to be sure of the problem..
result, rods ok but maf and idle motors gave up
