My 2000 Tiburon won't start and I was hoping you guys could help me out. The RDTiburon group was always helpful in the past and so was Hyundaiaftermarket.
Anyway the problem:
My car doesn't get fuel to the fuel rail or spark when I turn the key. The car somehow will start if I spray starting fluid into the intake. It will run only if the rpm's are held higher than 2k.
So far this is what I have checked or replaced:
I have recently replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump
I do get fuel to the rail when I run power to the fuel pump test connector
Fuel pump does not turn on when the key is turned to the on position before starting the car
Battery is getting correct voltage
The ground by the battery has been cleaned of paint and rust
Crankshaft position sensor has been replaced with a new one
I have tried another ECM that I have been sitting on that is supposedly good
No matter what I check or do so far the car will not start. It seems like it isn't getting good spark, but with ether it seems to give it that little extra umf that it needs to turn over. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you already found the problem. It's not getting fuel, test your pump. Even new pumps can go bad.
