Nothing under 1000$ will get you there.

No it won't. $400 NX kit + $30 Eclipse pump = easy 14's.


edit: actually, I was running 14's with the stock pump.

 

I dont think you really need the eclipse pump... but thats just my opinion

A stock Tib is supposed to do around a 16.2 to 16.3 if you have a 5speed. An auto will be slower. You will not be able to to 14's n/a with that amount of money unfortunately.

 

Most NX kits I see are mid 550ish dollars... I personally would never buy a used nitrous kit for the same reason I never buy a used turbo... I don't know what its been through. And I would at least recommend he get the Gen-X upgrade kit... bottle warmer, gauge, etc. Keeping the PSI constant in there is necessary to keep the system safe. Your probably looking at 800 dollars to run a 75 shot safely.
