Hyundais are generally very picky about filters. You really are best off running the OEM Hyundai filters. The dealership usually doesn't charge much for them. I personally run WIX filters and have been happy with them, but they're quite a bit more expensive than the OEM filters and there isn't much if any advantage to them.

Many filters, like Fram, etc. actually cause problems on a lot of Hyundais with excessive ticking or other problems.

Your oil cap will say what oil is recommended for your particular motor. 10w in a 4cyl is overkill imo unless you have a leak your trying to slow down

^^^^^^^ HAHAHAHA

I run 20-50 zero issues here! Yet, i assume i have reasoning, but 5w winter, and 10W summer is how i would roll if i was N/A, and didnt beat on my car, with the certain periodical time frame.

Your best bet is always to run what your manufacturer recommends. For Hyundai, it's 5W-30. For my Mustang, it's 0W-20.
