No Idea! My Elantra has done that since day 1. I just figured it was a normal thing.

You might have a problem with a sensor or a fuel/spark issue at startup. It sounds as the ecu thinks there is a possible timing issue. Recheck your wiring on all sensors, coil packs and doublecheck the fuel system.

Could be a fuel leak making the pump run for a bit before it'll have enough pressure to fire.

You could check that by turning the key on a couple times so the fuel pump will prime before you hit start.

I will check it out.

I have another question. When I burn rubber sometimes, its like my hole front end bounces up and down, its almost like the car is going up and hitting the ground, its sounds really bad. Is their anything I can do about this?

Solid Motor Mounts! It's called Wheel Hop. You should have done the Urethane DIY mounts before hand(as I am right now)

As for the cold start Issue? I have had the same thing for Over 50k now. I have a CEL from my O2 sensors not being hooked up but those are the only codes I'm throwing.

J do you have any CEL lights or COdes showing?

Solid motor mounts, stiffer springs, struts with better dampening, KFX lower brace, strut tower brace, engine dampener, SFR fender brace

All those could help. Poly mounts, better struts, and engine dampener would probably help the most.

No cel or anything. Yesterday, the cel flashed at me, saying that is a misfire. but it was running great. Maybe the shaking was casing the car to think that it was miss firing.

I was thinking about doing some solid mounts, but I dont want the motor to shake the car to much.

It will do that. Do you have the rough road sensor?

Are you using a Manual Transmission ECU? I am getting a CEL for missing transmission and wanted to know if you're using a manual ECU to maybe help clarify if that's my problem.
