Default Chrome wrap

I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of hate for this but I found a shop near me who will do a full all on chrome vinyl wrap with high quality 5 year 3m vinyl for $1100. I have not pulled the trigger on it but it's really making me think. Going for these looks

I like blue chrome too

I'd like to see a chrome wrapped Genesis. I think it would look pretty bad ass!

I'd like to see it after 5 years, compared to a well-treated high quality clear over paint.

Why the obsession with wrapping? There are tons of products that will do the same thing permanently, chances are this vinyl BS will being to fade and look like sh*t if not well maintained and garage kept. It seems like walking through a field of sh*t to get a porno, when there's a seven eleven right next door.

i think it's because of the ease of reverting back to your old paint job once you're tired of the wrap.. just peel it off and you're back with your original paint.

Assuming the vinyl comes off clean and doesn't rip up the paint/clear. Which is a high likelyhood.
