Sonota 2011 2.0T Engine swap Idea...
"^^^ i know more about hyundai's here than all the dealers and that isn't saying much." really ...The first time they all came out to see my tib, a smart assed sales man said " so its a v6 eh". lol! his boss was there so I ripped him bad, never seen him there again lol!! ..Hyundai dealerships need to hire hyundai internet trolls to to keep informed lol. come to think of it., 75 % of the people on these fourms know more about Hyundais than most mechanics at the dealerships!
(back on topic)If you can weld, work a level, understand standalones, and can make axels, almost any motor can be swapped!

Well, bummer...I was hoping to maybe FINALLY get that motor swap. Look like I will just have to put that money towards a new car then :-/ Maybe in a couple years when it's had time to be out I cold get a crate motor from the dealer or something. Also looking into it the tranny that matches up to it although it's an auto is pretty decent. Besides the amount of power I would get from that motor STOCK in my little Accent would work just nicly in auto form. I think it has Tip-Tronic or Shift_Tronic (whatever they are calling it) so it would be too bad. Thanks for the response though guys!
