did you say 3000 or 300. For 3000 you can alot of things BOOST, or go NA. but if you said 300 my suggestion is to save that 300 steal another 150 and get NOS kit and you have 50HP right there. but if you cant steal the other 150 just go and get the most stickers and name brand decals you can put on your car and take the 1320 like a crazy man.

Under $300 canadian is sorta hard. Best best is a REAL CAI, not just a cone filter. That is probably your best bang for the buck. Or for about $300 US dollars (+shipping), I would suggest a bored throttle body and bored/polished intake manafold. That will take you outta your car for about 2 weeks while your stock units are modified, but you will notice a big difference when you get them back.

A Real CAI the Tiburons have seen 3 HP from the KORE unit, and 4 Ft/lbs of Torque with the MHP unit.

If you have about $300 to spend i would go ahead and start on your exhaust. I did the exhaust set up on 2000 Tiburon for about $220. Whhat you need to do is find a muffler that you desire for your car. ($150-$200) Then when they are putting it on go ahead and have them pipe 2 1/4 pipe from the cat back. ($60-$80) Then all you need to do is gut the cat(which is illegal but who's gonna know).($0) If your not sure how to do this email me at Orion68@iwon.com and I can give you a little more info on it. After these modification you can definately feel a HP gain and your car sounds badass. eek.gif
I added a cone air filter to my car at the end of the factory intake.
I know a CAI will bring cold air and its better. But I live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and when it rains it rains a lot, like now, and it floods as well.
So my fear is to get water in the engine with a CAI.
IS there a recomendation for that?
Theres a site where they show to build a true CAI on your own, and you can split it to use it as a short air intake and as a CAI.
