<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(187sks @ Jun 27 2008, 08:14 AM) </div><div class='quotemain'>That's going to require 10psi to hit 200hp at the crank.</div>
I ask the manufacture of the turbo kit about the internals. the cars come with 110 Hp at the crank and looking at teh Koren turbo kits they don't do anythign for internals as well for 200hp, but if they go any high 220+ then they start putting the internals to it. I don't plan to tune it to the max adn try to get ever hp I can out of it, so if I end up runing just below 200HP I'll still be happy. But considering with what I've already do to the car, my guess is I'm runnign somewhere in teh 120-130hp now, so hitting 200 shouldn't be an issue. I'm looking forward to putting the car on the dyno before during and after the turbo install to see the progression.

AH...Komptek...you should have asked...for some strange reason the ECUs that come out of Korean are not at all similar to the USA/ Can spec accents. So getting a kit from Korean wont do you any good. Now If your just getting the hardware then you'll be better off, but youeah look into getting some internal work done...I'm considering going 200 whp as well but I'm thinking 8-9 psi would suffice and untill I can get internal work done I'm going to wait to go 10-12 psi...

It's not a ECU replacement, it's a USA Piggyback UniChip system for the Air/Fuel

You said you were getting a kit or what I thought you were talking about getting a kit from Korea. They stopped shipping turbo kit from korea because of the ecus not matching bu as I said If your getting JUST the hardware then you will be fine.

Ah I see, no teh Kit is from right here in North America. You can buy it at KFXperformance.com or .ca depending if your from Canda or the USA. I'm surprized more people haven't gotten this kit yet.
