Beta 2 Swap in a Accent LC2 Automatic
Hi to all members in here , Im Wilson from Malaysia , i got a 2005 Hyundai Accent LC2 with 1.5L G4EB with 4-Speed Automatic transmission .
The G4EB engine is quite bulletproof i should say , as it got rod knock on cylinder 2 for over a year or two already but still going strong to this day .
Im planning to do a engine swap with G4GC 2.0L Beta-2 with CVVT from a XD Elantra with automatic transmission .
Ive done research on the web quite sometimes already on Accent beta swap , but all of them are with manual transmission , as this was my daily beater i wish to keep it as an automatic plus a manual elantra G4GC engine is hard to come by in my country .
Can anyone shed some light on what parts do i need to made this swap ? can i use the stock Accent 1.5 AT Driveshaft ? Is the Beta-2 AT transmission are the same with the 1.5L Alpha one (A4AF3) ?
Thanks for any advice guys , any advice will be appreciated =)
