Default Accent 1.5l to 1.6l swap?

My friends '03 Accent engine just seized. He has the SOHC 1.5l and I was wondering if this could be swapped for the DOHC 1.6l as there are more of those to locate than the 1.5l engines??

Yea you can swap a 1.6 in. But you will need new ecu, re wire the maf to map. prob. a new clutch. It better to do a beta swap. Just about the same amount of work, except you dont have to make a mount... I think that all. Hope i didnt leave anything out.
