If you could, i8acobra, could you clarify which wire (lead/sense) should have which kind of voltage (switched/constant)?
I'm a total slut and a car noob, and so I don't want to mess anything up.

When I did my beta swap I had to figure out the same thing as far as what side of the plug is showing in the electrical diagram plug pinouts. I am almost certain the diagram of the plug is the front view/ pin side. I was gunna tell ya what wire went were but I remembered I used the accent alternator after seeing pink an red wires.

I suck at explanations.
I cut off the wires. I then had bare wires in the harness, and the plug with about an inch of wires hanging out. I then took the damaged wiring out of the plug itself, completely taking apart the plug itself. I then put new wires on the quick connect contacts and put the plug back together with the new wires in it. At this point I realized that I didn't know which was which.
I have since spent two weeks digging through manuals, wiring diagrams, calling countless dealerships, had an auto electric specialist out to look at it, and he gave the same puzzled head-scratching look I did because the wiring diagram info for this part of my car is very lacking.
I need a pic/to find one in person so I can just look at the plug and verify "Oh, the red wire w/a blue tracer goes on THIS side, and the other one goes on THIS side (of the plug)." I think I have them right, but there's that little doubt gnawing at me, and I want to rest assured that it's right.

Ok. Do you have any way of testing if there's voltage on the wires... a Voltmeter or tester light? Check them both with the car off. If one has power all the time, it goes to terminal #2. The other should be dead with the car off. When you switch the car to "on" (but not running), the one that was dead should now have power. That wire goes to terminal #1.

You are more helpful than anyone at hyundai. Love my car, but the dealerships in my area suck hard.
