My tail lights will not shut off when i turn off my car, the instrument cluster lights are on as well, nothing shuts off, this will drain my battery i think..this started after i replaced my turning signal assembly, theres a single white white i did not see fit to use on the turning signal assembly wire harness.. is there soemthing i can do with this single white wire to make this compatible with my car cause obviously it is not compatible with it

 

If electronics don't shut off with the switch, then the switch (or a relay) is bad, or your wires are shorted in a way that makes them always be "on" which could have happened in the accident.

 

could my ecu be ruined?

 

Anything is possible, but that seems unlikely just now. Check the wires, switches and relays first.
