You say the noise happens in gear or in neutral... what about clutch engaged or disengaged? If you're cruising in gear and depress the clutch, does the noise go away?

it does go away when the rpms drop. It doesnt go away right away and thats when I can feel it the most when i press the clutch; high revs press the clutch hear the noise and vibration then goes away when revs drop

Are you dead certain the noise wasn't there with the old transmission?

These transmissions love love love Redline MT90 GL4. Sometimes they also love Royal Purple, but Redline gets consistently great reviews from RD platform drivers. The dealership will also sell you something that will be good. If you didn't drain/refill all the transmission oil before you started using the transaxle, that's your first step.

im positive i have never had this problem. i looked into the redline but will that cause such as problem that im having. Before we pulled it from the junkyard we drained it, it was pretty much dry but i guess that will be my next step change the oil.

I wonder what sort of clutch/pressure plate you are using. If it's way out of balance maybe that could cause vibration? Did you use a new clutch? I also wonder if you got a return or exchange warranty on the transaxle from the yard.

I have a f1 racing stage 2 race clutch kit and a clutchmaster 10lb lightweight flywheel, its the same one from my other tranny about 8 months old. We didnt mess with any of that it stayed in place while we swapped the tranny. I did 5 days warranty (its up now) but my father-in-law didnt want to help take it back off so im kinda stuck with it. I plan on rebuilding other engine soon and i need this one to last till then so if I have extra $ I can get another one; at the same time I would like to figure this one out so I dont have to spend that money.
