BBTB Installed - Problem - HELP!
All-
I installed my Tigerlilly 60mm tb today, reset my ecu and went for a drive (this on the V6). Initially it seemed great - but once I revved the motor the idle is now floating between 1500 and 1800 rpm and sometimes revving up to 3000 all by itself. When driving it feels like the throttle is sticking too. It's not mechanical - so I'm guessing it's the TPS. It came with one already installed, and it looks brand new - like they took an OEM TB and bored it. Suggestions? If I can't fix it tonight - I'm just going to put my stock TB back on.
TIA

Check the cable tension: make sure it's not too tight and holding the throttle open, make sure the cable is still running the same path, no kinks or tight bends.
Check for vacuum leaks: Check every single hose and clamp and bolt, any leak near the TB can cause erratic idle.
Then consider TPS and other things that may require more work wink

Tried swapping the TPS - same thing (and triple checked everything). Swapped the old TB back in and the problem disappeared. I know the performance is better when you match the intake manifold - but the larger bore of the tb wouldn't cause the problem would it?
