have at it. this is like the distributor, they have other people that sell these too. Notice made in germany, shipping is still free.

also, under FAQ's:
<span style="color:#666699"><span style="font-family:Arial">Q7. I would like to keep install your seat heaters on my vehicle, but I plan to purchase the OEM seat heater switches, can I use the OEM switches with your kits?
A7. The answer to this question really depends on your electrical knowledge, of course it is possible if you are electrically inclined. We have installed many seat heaters on vehicles using the OEM seat heater switches.

the heating element between these seats and the ones in the DIY are extremely different. the ones form the diy used a long heating element layed like a grill to distribute heat evenly.
these are a mesh of carbon fiber. much more even heat, and a lot easier to work with. you can get holes wherever you want, and not have to worry about anything. you may be able to crimp on connectors like he did and then stick them in the harness on the stock switches, but i like the way the switches look that come with these seats.
god i want these, but i just dont if i will have the money to get them. it is a great price though, 10 dollars cheaper than the cheapest i could find. and i looked, a lot.

Also, i spoke to him and the one that he found was still without shipping. but seriously people, read what he said, these ones are probably better than the DIY. what i was referring to as the same tho is the wiring. They are like identical! it will work

Those don't look like a two stage switch.
Hmm.
Wonder if there is a way to work this whole thing. Oh well, not like it gets THAT cold here in NM.

^^^ done. what about the rest of you guys in the switch gb?? as far as i know only one is planning on using the switches for something else besides heating...
that switch did not look like it had a hi-lo on it...if we were to get this kit and not buy the oem switches, does anyone have any idea of how we would mount these switches? it would be nice to do it in the same spot as the oem ones...they look nice there.
on their site:
"To purchase a single 12 volt Replacement Seat Heater Element, please click on the link below... "
what comes in one of those (their site does not say)? if that is just the carbon fiber heating element...i am sure we could use the oem switches and wire them to that, plus those are only $55 shipped retail...a GB on those would be like $35 shipped per seat, and we could use the oem switches.

youd have to mount these by drilling a hole somewhere. I personally like the look of the OEM's wayyy better and i can deal with just off and on. Also, ill ask them about the last thing, although im almost positive its not the actual heaters.
