Thanks man for answering a lot of questions.

I read your response to my post over at NT. Im gonna see what I can do about getting in now. I was going to get my car painted but I'll try to put that off until later. If not I will definetly like to buy this kit from you later on, even if it is more expensive.

Thanks again.

Don't know why anyone here would need 13 inch rotors. I was watching a thing on Speed Channel the other day about how much these bigger brake sets like 12 and 13 inches just are OVERKILL, and for looks only. How they rob more HP than your rims and tires because of weight. They added a nice BBK setup to a STI and it LOST 18 HP.

LOL

Anyways, I'm getting the US Brake set. Competition makes for good stuff.

As for CROSS Drilled rotors, I see no problem with them if they are done right.

Now, Chris, John, stop with the quotes man, it's all on the same page bros.

Ive said maybe like three times, the main reason why Im doing it is for looks. Hell I dont expect to be driving anywhere near fast enough to need a BBK. And as far as the extra weight, again, its not something I am terribly concerned about. If I was, I wouldve gotten another carbon fiber hood instead of the Zefiro one. And anyways, Im planning on getting some lightweight rims eventually.

But this isnt about reasons to or not to get a BBK. Its more like, if you want a Rotora BBK, this guy is offering them. And I think its awesome that we're finally getting stuff like this avaliable to us.

And this is EXACTLY why I brought Rotora to RDTiburon.com!

I find this all skeptical. No pics. No product. Just talk. People have tried getting large companies such as Brembo and Rotora to produce them, but we have yet to see anything. HP Racing does make big brake kits for the Tib. I think Wilwood may have...not too sure. I could've sworn Maier had them.

And a BBK, like Redz said, does indeed steal HP. The stock 10.1" is fine. You can even upgrade to the Sonata rotors of 11.1", which isn't too bad. I know Brembo make blank brakes, but KVR makes slotted ones for us. Not trying to call you a liar or someone trying to make a quick buck by taking everyone's money, but if there were someone that people on the boards knew well enough, I'm sure you'd get a larger group of people chipping in for the R&D work.

...I stand corrected...

In that case...I think I'm definitely interested in getting package 1...or is this just for a BBK? Blegh. And you know we have a 4-bolt pattern. Oh...just out of curiosity...what's the diameter of those rotors (not the BBK)?

the diameters of the rotors not included in the bbk are oem i believe. for example, the rear ones that you get with the bbk package are definately oem size.

I hope those pics on the NT.com thread sufficed for you. If you scroll down the first thread there you'll see all the items for the 99-01s. If you buy any of these, they are made for the RD application. Nothing special about it. If you want more info, or if I missed something, let me know!

What about newer Sonata rotors? They're about an inch bigger than the RD Tib ones. Are the Sonata rotors larger, or you guys using the same ish?

Edit: Oh, one other thing...if these are direct OE replacements, I'm assuming the thickness is the same for the Tib?

Width: 22m
Diameter: 257mm

Right? Thanks.
